The simple reason being that huge Pharma companies will face great losses if these alternate medicines are widely used by the public; governments are often lobbied by these pharma companies and thus governments are forced to ensure that these companies are happy.

1. Cyanide

The small dose of cyanide was found in apricot kernel which majorly contains B17. B17 was widely sold in the US till the 1970s. After the 1970s, the FDA made it illegal to be used as a carcinogenic treatment. That does make a lot of sense since the current treatment of bombarding a patient with radiation is a lot healthier than small doses of cyanide.

The smelly gel is said to be anticarcinogenic in nature and there are thousands of people around the world who have successfully cured themselves of cancer by utilising the product. Like other anti-cancer medications, DMSO has also faced great resistance from the FDA. The FDA focuses on the side-effects of the substance more than the health benefits of using such a substance. In 2002 the FDA came out with a preliminary product that can help people fight cancer. But it has been 16 years and nothing has changed regarding DMSO. People around the world believe that the only reason that DMSO is not being certified is because it wasn’t manufactured by a big pharmaceutical company.

The FDA for some reason acts like the final boss or rather as the sheriff. William Reich was an Austrian-born psychiatrist. In 1954, the FDA started to bully Reich just like all the other people and products that they bully. The FDA got injunctions on the orgone energy; orgone energy was said to be the positive creative force that every individual has. William Reich had made significant strides in accessing that energy and using it for the benefit of mankind. The FDA couldn’t let that happen, since the only people who are allowed to benefit from medications and health-based drugs are the FDA and big Pharma. It was preposterous for one man to sell orgone accumulators and books that benefited the health of the common man. So the FDA arrested William Reich and sentenced him to two years in prison. His stay in prison resulted in the loss of his life and as history suggests, a huge victory for FDA.
